Most of the details required to use this site are in the paper. Below we clarify a few technicalities and uses of terminology.

• The main interface is through the ‘Syllabus Database’ tab above, or here: http://csed.ucd.ie/sigcse2019/results

• The syllabi can be searched based on any combination of
  • Programming language
  • Location (country)
  • Learning Outcome type (Explicit, Scraped, or both)
    • Explicit Learning outcomes specifically mention something that students are expected to know, or be able to do, upon successful completion of a course.
    • Scraped Learning outcomes refer to syllabi where there were no explicit learning outcomes, for which we ‘scraped’ concepts from other syllabus content.
  • Source (Manual or Submitted)
    • Manual refers to syllabi that we manually curated as described in the paper.
    • Submitted are syllabi submitted by the community.
• Results can be viewed by Categories or Syllabi
  • Categories returns a list of Learning Outcome categories, and the number of syllabi that match that category. Clicking on the category name will bring you to a list of courses whose syllabi match the category. Clicking on the course title will reveal the details of that course.
  • Syllabi returns a list of courses that match the search parameters. Clicking on the course title will reveal the details of that course.
• The details of each course contain links to the syllabus at the institution where the course is delivered.
